With the help of generous donors like you in 2011 the Children's Care Auxiliary was able to gift $91,000 to the Children's Care Hospital & School! Proceeds from the Mall Walk event purchased: - $20,000 to help fund a new Vocational Skills Curriculum. - Therapy Education Equipment - seating simulator, aquatics equipment, low step physical therapy equipment, teaching tubs, adapted switches, adapted computer software, scooters and helmets, therapy swings, adapted toys, cooking items, child trampoline, wipe-off boards and other educational & therapy equipment. - Leisure Activities - this category includes music cds, video games, beauty shop supplies/hair ponies, karaoke machine, train set, portable DVD and CD players, etc. student yearbooks, swimming passes and community outing funds. - Sensory Equipment - includes specialized swings, tunnels, weighted vests & lap animal toys, etc. - State of the Art Equipment - Touchscreen game system, Boardmaker Plus System, Vibroacoustic Portable Mat for sensory input.
